Plot summary

Nick and Noah are both embarking on life-changing adventures that are threatening to pull them apart—Nick in business with his father and Noah starting a fresh chapter at Oxford University. Predictability at its worst. The sequel is nowhere

Predictability at its worst. The sequel is nowhere near as good as the first. The lack of authenticity in the characters is obvious. I’m a Nick & Noah fan, but it’s clear they’re now just making cliché movies. And, my God... The ending just made me say, “Seriously”? Is that the best the writers could come up with?!

The second installment takes a break from creating

The second installment takes a break from creating a fantasy of two people completely in love with each other and focuses on two people in a controlling and inadvertently toxic relationship. Unlike the Spanish version the characters don’t act toxic on purpose as part of their character but usually as a response to jealousy. It was really interesting to see how a relationship built on the idea of two people "belonging" together and "owning" each other and how it doesn’t help them solve problems it just creates more as they don’t communicate and only focus on how it feels when they are together. I hope the people watching try to get the message and don’t romanticize their toxic behavior too much from this installment and in the next I really hope we see them get back together and in a more healthy, loving, and communicative relationship…

Hands down the best adaptation we could've asked for. The look of the film is so sleek and gorgeously stylized, treating every frame like a piece of art, while the pacing remains flawlessly tight from start to finish. They stayed incredibly faithful to the book's narrative but infused it with this vibrant, cinematic energy that elevates it into the ultimate must-watch summer flick. The acting is brilliant, the direction is beautiful, and it completely delivers. Go watch it immediately!
