Plot summary

this otherwise promising italosleaze is fatally undermined by the hopelessly miscast Dallesandro's laughable ineptitude, and not only at acting - he barely demonstrates the kissing skills of a nervous 11-year old, let alone a dangerous sexually-deprived escaped cirminal

Below average Italian snoozefest with a mean-spirited splash

Below average Italian snoozefest with a mean-spirited splash of psychosexual thrills. Dubbing Joe Dallesandro removes the camp appeal his New York accent normally imparts, so the main attraction Madness offers audiences is Lorraine De Selle in various states of undress. Docked 1/2 a star for its problematic, yet ridiculous romantic moments and a heavily recycled score.
