Plot summary

In 2003, eight Rhode Islanders created a secret apartment inside a busy mall and lived there for four years, filming everything along the way. Far more than a prank, the secret apartment became a deeply meaningful place for all involved.

Very cool to hear about but it spent

Very cool to hear about but it spent too much time on the whole tape art thing and kind of went away from the story

Much like everything other social issue, it's all well and good until it happens to "good whyte folks". 15 minutes into the doc and they LITERALLY DRAW A RES LINE! However, they don't refer to it as such! I wonder why?

Yuppie artists gatekeeping an apartment in a stolen

Yuppie artists gatekeeping an apartment in a stolen space inside a mall it starts off interesting and then becomes a self congratulating "we are special artists" no one else is allowed. They are not bad people just kind of annoying with a sense of hyperactive self importance. The fact they recorded so much with crappy old cameras was probably the most interesting thing as it was pre cell phone. Its a clubhouse they did not live there.
