Plot summary

In the 14th-century, as the Silk Road crumbles and rival factions tear the land apart, fearless warrior Timur emerges from exile. Stripped of everything, he fights to unite the fractured kingdoms, using strategy and sheer will to carve an empire from chaos. Undefeated in battle and widely regarded as one of history’s greatest military leaders and tacticians, not to mention one of its most brutal, Timur would found the Timurid Empire, which ruled over modern-day Afghanistan, Iran and Central Asia.

I am intrigued. No superstar leads, never heard

I am intrigued. No superstar leads, never heard of it but it unfolds like the most seasoned storytelling saga should. So in that respect I should say I am pleasantly surprised. This kind of action thriller doesn't come as often as these kind of movies used to, which is why I enjoyed it even more. Escapism, betrayal, great believable fight scenes, solid acting, comic like in a graphic novel kind of way, and modern, slick and clean visuals. Very well put together. Should have been a theatrical release. A movie about original people with this kind of finesse and style? Here for it!!
