Pulpy yakuza thriller about two assassins on the run that borrows as much from the tropes and aesthetics of spaghetti westerns as it does gangster movies, including a score clearly inspired by Morricone. Slick photography and colorful settings create plenty of visual interest, though the story begins to lose steam as it nears the final showdown.
