More widely known as “I Fidanzati” this is

More widely known as “I Fidanzati” this is such a beautiful story of how love is all about timing, and when it’s right it’s so right, and when it’s off, the malaise sets in. It’s a short film, just 1 hour and 17 minutes, and will surely engage the conversation of whether they’ll stay together or separate, Olmi, the director, leaves the verdict open.

Olmi's film looked very similar to Il Posto

Olmi's film looked very similar to Il Posto with its love story and dancehall montages. But unlike Il Posto, this film is more mature as it looks at the challenges of one's love for another in times of uncertainty. The direction and cinematography add to the mood as Giovanni contemplates his future with his fiance, Lilianna.
