Plot summary

A man discovers a box of interviews with his father, a lifelong heroin addict who died of AIDS in 1997. What he finds will uncover generations of family secrets, forcing him to redefine his own past, doubt his present, and question his future.

A typical story of a typical drug addict

Basically a story of a kid uncovering his past and his drug addicted father whom does what they normally do being as narcissistic as they are. While I do feel bad for the son his father unfortunately is just a waste of skin whom if not for prison food would have starved. In the end to the chagrin to the few and blessing to the tax payers he passes away. For those of us who've had some time in on the planet it's enough to annoy you.

Leaving a review now because I'm not sure whether I can finish watching

I frankly don't care about this "father's" story. I personally never realized how angry I was with my father until I had children of my own. Then I was was also furious with my mother, who to my way of thinking, let this person off the hook for his obligations. Don't know, don't care, don't call, don't write. You made your bed a lifetime ago. Some people should be neutered at birth. You have to get a license to drive a car, for goodness sake. I am old enough to be a grandparent now and this sort of discussion can still reduce me to blubbering tears. If you're this parent and you fled, stay gone.
