Plot summary

Timid 9-year-old Danny teams up with his beloved family dog Charlie, who gets abducted by aliens and returns with superpowers, to thwart a plan by the neighbor's sinister cat Puddy to destroy humanity.

Over-simplistic and bland... There's a moment in the third act when this film has an opportunity to make a powerful statement for the youngsters but opts to cops out instead. Its a shame, but its also fun enough to keep them occupied for an hour or so... Charlie is a good boy
